Hi I'm Mckayla

I grew up in Utah, I love spending time with my family and adventuring in Heavenly Fathers Beautiful Nature. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am 19 years old and am the oldest of 5 kids. There are 4 girls and 1 boy. My brother is right smack in the middle of all us girls. He handles it very well. I graduated from high school in 2014, I was co-captain of the dance company team. My passion is dance! I love everything about it, I love to perform, I love to choreograph and I love to teach dancers how to feel the music, not just perform it. I have been very blessed to have choreographed a few dances for the Junior High were my sisters attend. My other passions are photography and nursing. I'm excited to become more acquainted with these when I return home. Family is most important to me. I was lucky enough to be the oldest grandchild on my mom's side and was able to spend many special hours with great grandparents. Who so loved the gospel and shared it with me often. I am truly grateful for those hours spent with them. We as a family spend a lot of time together both on my dad and mom's side. We have a party at least once a month to spend time with each other. I love those times spent together. I am grateful for my eternal family. I'm excited for this next adventure in my life and the many people I will meet.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up as a mormon. I my teen years I did question all I was learning but than I took it upon myself to find out if it's true! After reading the Book of Mormon and asking sincerely through prayer I know without a doubt that this Gospel is true! I love having the feeling of comfort that takes place as I open myself to everything my Heavenly Father has awaiting me!!

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by daily scripture study, prayer, and seeking to find the light of our savior in all I do. I follow the commandments asked of me and do my best to always listen for guidance. I have learned to love the opportunities I get to talk quite often to my Father in Heaven through personal prayer. What a great relation ship we are building and It sure is nice to have someone that will always listen to me and the struggles I am going through. Church has been a fun place for me as I grew up through the Young Womens programs. It was challenging to become the President for each of the classes I moved up through. I enjoy especially seeing people grow and develop in the gospel and strive to always help be a part of that development as they find the joy I have found!
