Hi I'm McKayla Johnson

I love to bake and take outdoor pictures. I am a Mormon.

About Me

From K-12, my family has been the only members in my small town. I have gotten used to doing missionary work for quite some time now. I am the oldest of four girls. I love to bake all sorts of items. In high school I graduated with a class of 64 students. I played trumpet in band, danced on our drill team, and I was a member on our speech team. I state qualified for all 6 years! My sister and I are 14 months apart. She is younger, but taller.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know with out a doubt in my heart that this is the one and only true church on this earth. I have grown to love and cherish this gospel. I know that the Holy Ghost is our CONSTANT companion. I have learned to not take advantage of the Holy Ghost. I know that Joseph Smith was our first prophet and he did see a pillar of light come down and he saw two personages. I know in my heart that the Book of Mormon is the one true book. It has helped me in many ways. I can lean on it for anything. I know that it was written for our days now. I know that the Lord loves me for who I am. I know that he hears me every time I speak. He knows me more than I know my self. I love this gospel and am proud to be a representative of Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

In my branch I was the Beehive's President, Miamaid's President, and Laurels President. My sister and I were the only kids in Primary and in Young Womens. I am now teaching the 8-9 year old Primary Class.

What is the difference between attending a church and attending a temple?
