Hi I'm Emma

I am an avid reader. I hope to be a published author one day as I love to write in my free time. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student. I am a nanny while I save money to go on a mission. I love to write stories. My laptop has 20 unfinished story ideas typed up on it plus a few more bouncing around in my head. My younger sister is my favorite person to bounce ideas off of as she always gets excited. I love to perform and have done color guard for 7 years. I currently enjoy helping my sister and cousin as they are starting to learn as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family of church members and have grown up going to the LDS church every week. As it tends to happen, when I reached a certain age I started to question why we always went to church. But then my uncle passed away as well as one of my color guard coaches. During that time I prayed a lot about my questions and received answers because of these trials and others that occurred. I became ever so grateful for the church and the knowledge I had about life before and after this one. It helped me to feel peace during times of struggle for me, my family, and those around me. Going to college far from home was very hard on me and it put me in a position where I greatly relied on my faith. I developed a better relationship with my Heavenly Father because I didn't have my parents nearby. Trusting his plan for me and leaning on The Lord helped me to grow personally, meet incredible people, and present me with new opportunities.

How I live my faith

I love to sing and I love working with kids. I have been blessed with the opportunity to work in the nursery each week at church. I get to use songs to teach little children about Jesus and the world around them. I am preparing to leave on a mission where I will have the opportunity to simply teach and serve people all day.
