Hi I'm Brandon Djakoure Agre

I grew up in Virginia, I'm a missionary in Chicago, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am serving a mission in Chicago, Illinois. I am the son of two amazing parents from Cote d' Ivoire (Ivory Coast) and the proud older brother of a talented brother and equally talented sister. I love playing the cello (though I haven't played it in 2 years). I'm willing to try anything once as long as it doesn't go against my standards. I have already spent a year at BYU Provo and my dream is to graduate from there and hopefully begin a career in animation.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church when I was 2 years old and honestly for awhile I went to church because my parents brought me and because I had friends there. When the time came when I was 12 years old if I really wanted to stay an active member or go my own way I realized that I didn't want to leave the church because it didn't feel right, I felt that I lost something. So ever since then I worked and pondered to turn my feelings of "I like how I feel here" to "I know without a doubt that this Church is true", I'm still getting to that point but it has been a blessed journey along the way.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by well obviously serving a mission but within that doing all the basics. Read from the scriptures daily, praying daily, and going to church weekly. I also try to attend the temple as often as possible. I listen from the words from our current prophets to try to better my life.
