Hi I'm Logan

I was born and raised in the great state of Texas. I'm going on a mission to Brazil, São Paulo north. I'm a mormon

About Me

I love to play football or any kind of sport really that involves being physically active. I have always played football but I chose not to pursue that completely. I'm putting off college for 2 years to go serve a mission in the Brasil Sao Paulo Norte mission, but when I get back I intend on pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. I didn't have a perfect childhood when I was eight my father abused my mother amongst other things which led to divorce and my mom has recently been remarried to a man that also had a daughter who I willingly call my dad and my sister. I don't ever call them step anything it sounds foreign to call them that because of how close they are to me. With that addition, my family consist of my mom, my dad, oldest brother (23), older brother (20), me (18) and my little sister (9).

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in to the gospel but I have been converted to it in spirit. I have learned and grown in this church. I have read and prayed about the Book of Mormon and have really truly felt the truthfulness behind each and every word. I know and understand that Joseph Smith restored this true church to the earth. I know that we have a prophet on the earth today to lead and guide the church just as was done in Jesus' time. I know and feel with every fiber of my being that this is the true church. That is why I am a Mormon simply because I cannot in any way deny the things that I have felt.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving people in any way I can whether it be taking a hitch hiker thirty to forty minutes away from where I originally picked him up (I wouldn't completely suggest that I just followed my heart in that scenario) to helping elderly people load their car with the groceries they just bought. I've always been taught to give service to everyone around me and that is something that the gospel has taught me to do so by doing that I live my faith. Another way I am choosing to live my faith is by going on a mission which is a rather difficult thing to do honestly. It's difficult to comprehend that you won't have your family and friends around that you grew up with and have learned to rely on. That is probably the only thing that has discouraged me in going on a mission, the people that I will miss, but with that I know the lord will bless me because I am spending two full years serving and honoring him in all things.
