Hi I'm Isaac English

I was born and raised in Chandler, Arizona and I am a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm an awesome guy, I love to be active, sports are a main hobby of mine, you name the time and place with some competition, I'll be there. Being active has helped me to stay mobile in situations which I need to be. I talking with people, short conversations are fun but investing time to learn about someones life interests me, people are one of a kind and getting to know these people is fun for me. I will be going on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to the Philippines Quezon city north mission, preaching the gospel in Tagalog. Leaving November 4th so if you're reading this its too late. I am living life in the Philippines for two years to help people become closer to Christ, that they may have a chance to know that this church is true and Heavenly Fathers Holy Spirit exists and can be apart of our daily lives. What a blessing to know the Lord is by your side each and every second of the day. He knows your strengths and weaknesses and its your job to learn from your mistakes and live to your fullest potential with your strengths. He knows and loves you more than you know, trust him, follow him, let him be the light to your life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I felt God had answered my prayers, thanks to the help of the mormon missionaries serving in the area at the time. I had known about the Mormon religion and didn't care for it whatsoever while in high school. After graduating I ran into the missionaries, we talked for a bit introducing ourselves and they offered me a book of mormon, and asked me to read from it. I responded yes but never did until they came to see how my reading was going. They came by two times and I didn't want to talk to them because I felt I knew what they had to offer and just wanted to baptize me. The third time I was bored so I answered the door and invited them inside to hear their message. They taught me a lesson and everything they taught me felt right, as if I was being taught by a trusted school teacher. They asked me to close our lesson with a prayer, so I did. In that prayer I felt something I had never felt before. A glamorous feeling inside of me while I was speaking to the Lord, it was as if I was being uplifted from head to toes. I got up with a shimmer after the prayer wondering what did I just experience, and the missionaries asked me what the look on my face was all about. I can only imagine what my face looked like at the time. But I explained to them that feeling and they both looked at each other, then me with a huge smile on their face and testified that the feeling I had felt was the Holy Ghost. The Lord was testifying to me that what I was doing in that very moment was right for me. From that moment on I decided I wanted to be baptized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I now live the mormon religion in my every day life and it has taught me so much, I have progressed in many ways, and know how to be happy in this life and the life to come. This gospel brings happiness to the world and is here for a reason. I encourage all to take time to pray to Heavenly Father, and become one with him and his son Jesus Christ. LOVE is key.

How I live my faith

I choose to attend church each and every Sunday even though I may miss my favorite teams football game. I have found through experience that my day is MUCH more spiritual which makes me very happy inside and out. I teach a class on Sundays called Gospel Principals where I teach the basic principals of the gospel we live. Investigators of the church are welcome to attend my class any sunday, in which they can learn more about what we believe and how to better live your life in living the gospel.
