Hi I'm Mary

I moved a ton with my family while growing up throughout the USA, I'm a proud Army girlfriend, a musician, and I'm Mormon.

About Me

I'm 18 years old, I live with my family, mom and 5 siblings. My boyfriend, Nathanael, is in the Army. I play the piano and sing, music has been a passion of mine for several years now, and I am hoping to go to school for music after I get off my mission. My family has done a ton of moving throughout the United States while I was growing up, so I know how to make friends easily. :) haha I work at an Amazon Fulfillment Center, for Amazon.com and its one of the coolest leadership opportunities I've had. My parents are currently going through a divorce that will finalize later this year, my dad is currently down in the US Virgin Islands, where we lived for about a year. I also write and enjoy reading a ton, I'm a bit of a chick flicker, love me a good romance novel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen the blessings that living this gospel brings. It has helped me avoid a multitude of sins and problems that are happening more frequently in the world, and has brought great peace to me as I have strived to live it. I have seen God's hand in my daily life as I try to make decision and become an adult. And when I have messed up I have felt the love that my Heavenly Father has for me and felt His forgiveness. I am grateful for the Atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and feel the only way to truly be able to show gratitude is by living this gospel, the only true gospel, to the fullest that I can. My parents taught me at a young age how to ask if the Church was true and I have received my answer over the years, this gospel is true, and I know because it has helped me through multitudes of trials and joys.

How I live my faith

I play the piano for my congregation and help the choir with accompaniment, I am trying to learn the organ so I can begin playing on that instead. I participate in the Young Single Adult activities and occasionally help plan them. I am also preparing to serve a mission for the Church, I am in the last stages of submitting my paperwork before I receive my assignment, I am both nervous and extremely excited. I love the gospel and can't wait to share it. I do a lot of service, both in my family and in my congregation, to help others feel the Spirit of Christ and know they are loved.
