Hi I'm Ginny

I am a wife. I am a mother. I love to quilt and read. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Arizona. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Business Education. I love to play the piano and have taught many piano lessons over the years. I learned to quilt about 15 years ago and have loved it ever since. Reading is also a favorite pass time. My family is very important to me. I have five children and five grandchildren. My husband and I enjoy going to Arizona Diamondbacks games.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon, but it was important for me to come to know Jesus Christ and his gospel for myself. I have a testimony that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that he loves me. I am so grateful for His atonement in behalf of all of us. He gives me hope and peace in a world full of hopelessness and chaos. He gives me strength to endure trials and challenges, sickness and pain. His gospel gives me joy. I'm grateful to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have enjoyed teaching the youth for many years. Most of the youth I have worked with are girls between the ages of twelve and eighteen. I especially enjoy going to girls' camp with them where we can enjoy being in nature and enjoying God's creations. I taught an early morning gospel class for high school students for two years. We met before school each morning and studied the scriptures. My husband and I have spent the last three years working with young single adults, ages eighteen to thirty-one. What great people they were to work with. We enjoyed going to service projects with them, conferences, devotionals, activities and Sunday services--just to name a few.
