Hi I'm NataLee

I'm a wife and a mother. I'm a small business Owner. I love to travel and learn about different cultures and people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small California town. I studied Entrepreneurship in College. I am married with 2 wonderful daughters. I love to create things - anything. I love woodworking, crafts, design, baking, photography. I believe that when we create beautiful things, we are identifying with our divine nature. God created this beautiful world for us. He created the trees, the animals, the sunsets. He created us. I believe that this is why we have that desire to create deep within us - it is part of who we are. I love learning to create - I feel I learn more about myself and my God in the process.

Why I am a Mormon

When Jesus Christ was on the Earth, He led His disciples and taught them His gospel. When His mortal ministry was completed and it was time for Him to ascend to heaven, He didn't leave His disciples alone. He gave them a special gift - the Gift of the Holy Ghost. This gift was given to them to guide and direct them, to comfort them, and to teach them. When the Church of Jesus Christ was restored again to the earth in these latter days, the Gift of the Holy Ghost was restored with it. When I was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I was given the Gift of the Holy Ghost. As I have learned to use this gift, I have been greatly blessed. As long as I live worthy of it, the Holy Ghost is my constant companion. He guides me in my life and helps me make decisions. He helps me to know how to help and guide my children in their lives. When they come home from school with a tough question or with a sad heart, He gives me the words to say to them. I know what to do, how to comfort them and how to encourage and direct them. Many times He has directed me to do or say things way beyond my wisdom or capacity. I am able to give them exactly what they need, because He knows what they need. This direction and direct line to God is invaluable. The Holy Ghost is the way God speaks to us. The more I learn about this communication method, the more I learn about God and myself. I feel close to God when I am following His gospel. This provides me with peace and comfort in a world of chaos and danger. It is amazing to look out at the world and not be afraid. The gospel of Jesus Christ makes me Happy. God created us to have Joy and then He gave us the gospel to teach us how to be joyful. I am so very grateful that I am blessed to have this gospel in my life. I love being Happy. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

There are two wonderful young ladies serving as missionaries in my area. They have sacrificed 18 months of their lives to serve God and teach others about Him. They are wonderful examples to me and I love that I have the opportunity to serve with them. It is also currently my great privilege to teach a Sunday School class. I love teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know we use the word teach when we lead a class, but I always feel like I don't do much teaching. When I prepare a lesson, I am always taught way more than I believe I teach. I lead the discussion and God teaches the class in His own way through all of the people who participate. It is an amazing thing to be a part of this process. I am so grateful that I have this opportunity.
