Hi I'm Madison

I love meeting new people and trying new things. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a big crazy family of 10 kids, which means I have a lot of built in friends. I love everything about music and I play the cello. I also love to go out and do anything active. I am a firm believer in what President Hinckley once said "Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured."

Why I am a Mormon

When my mom was 13 she was baptized into the church so I grew up my whole life in the gospel. Many of my older siblings left the church and as I got older I really had to decide what I was going to do. From a young age I knew there was a God. I had many anxieties as a child and when I got scared the only thing that would help me feel better was to say a little prayer, and I then didn't feel alone. I always knew I could pray and feel peace. As I got older, through seminary and preparing for a mission I gained a testimony of the Book of Mormon. When I really started to study with purpose of finding an answer, I could feel the power it held and the spirit and revelation it brought. Looking at some family members that fell away and seeing the stages of their life with and without the gospel was a real eye opener. At first everything looked fun and easy, but then all the consequences of their actions caught up to them and I saw that it didn't bring them any happiness at all. Choosing to serve a mission has been the best decision I ever made because as I prepare and do what I am supposed to it has shown me this gospel is one of love and truth and understanding. It is there to help people in this life and the next and bring them back to their father in heaven. I love this gospel and all the peace and happiness it bring me.

How I live my faith

I am serving in the West Virginia Charleston Mission.
