Hi I'm Holly Hoehne

I was born and raised in Provo, UT, I'm going to serve a mission in Manchester New Hampshire and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am the youngest of eight children, I have five brothers, two sisters as well as 19 nieces and nephews. I love to bake and cook as well as play the piano. I am currently attending Utah Valley University and working towards getting my degree in Exercise Science and then move on to get a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. In January I am going to serve in the New Hampshire Manchester Mission

Why I am a Mormon

It gives me purpose and meaning to my life. I am able to know that I am loved unconditionally, no matter what I do or how ever many times I fall. I know that God loves me and that Jesus Christ died for me not only for my sins but for my weaknesses, pains and sadness. It gives hope for the future and confidence in God's plan that we can and will live forever and if we follow His plan, we will have eternal life and live with Him. It all just makes sense and it feels right.

How I live my faith

I find strength from the simple, consistent acts of daily prayer, scripture study and regularly attending church, church meetings and activities/events and especially going to the temple often. It's the small and simple things that make the difference in the long run. I am so blessed to have a temple nearby that I can go to so often and to receive strength and power from God. Being able to pray to a loving Heavenly Father who will listen and answer gives me the most strength and comfort in my life. And being able to read the Book of Mormon gives me guidance and direction in my life.
