Hi I'm Whitney

I am a college student who loves to dance. I come from a large blended family and I love it! I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student fresh out of high school. I love ballroom dance and was on my high school ballroom dance team and I loved every minute of it. I have a large family including my mom, dad, and three blood siblings, a step-father, two step-sisters, a half brother, and a new half sister on the way. I am very family oriented and enjoy spending as much time with them as I can. My parents were divorced when I was about eleven and my mom got remarried two years later. This was a hard time for me, but we have made the best out of a hard situation. I love to play volleyball, the piano and draw and am always willing to watch a good movie. I have moved about 15 times in my life, and have tried being home schooled, going to charter schools and also public schools. I have learned many different things from each experience and I can not decide which one I enjoyed more. I also love sitting outside and just being able to read a good book. I have grown up in the church and have always had great examples in my life to help me with my questions and my testimony. I can't imagine my life without it and the peace and comfort that is always available for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my Savior and my Father in Heaven. The gospel has made me the person I am, it has changed and continues to change me as I continue to learn more and strive to be like Jesus Christ. I know that God loves me and that I am His daughter and that He is with me always. He guides me in all that I do so that I can return to heaven and to live with Him and my family forever. The gospel brings a peace and a light into my life that I could not find anywhere else. I know that if I follow the teachings of Jesus and the gospel that I can have eternal happiness and joy. I love the gospel and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormon church).

How I live my faith

I try to be an example of my beliefs and my church every day of my life in college, work and in all that I do. I stand up for what I believe in through the choices I make, the things that I wear, the things that I say, and the way that I treat others. I go to church with my family. I have been a part of different organizations were I was able to help organize activities for others in my ward. I love being able to come to church and to learn more around my Savior and His teachings, but to also hear from other members and their experiences and testimonies.
