Hi I'm Kaitlyn Lunt

I'm a dancer, performer, avid chocolate lover, and singer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Kaitlyn. I've been a ballerina since age 4. I love dance. I am currently a college student studying dance education. I recently got called to serve as a missionary of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am beyond excited to go serve the Lord for 18 months. My father is a choir teacher for high school. In high school I realized I had a huge passion for singing as well. I was shocked at how much singing impacted me. But over all the performing, I love this gospel. Out of any title that I could be associated with, my favorite is knowing "I am a daughter of God." This has brought me more direction and peace than anything else. I love God and am forever indebted to all He has given me.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but it wasn't until recently that I realized how much living the gospel means to me personally. I grew up very enthusiastic about the gospel and thought I knew for myself how much a needed it. After graduating high school and moving into the real world things got hard. I went through some very hard trials, with school, family, friends, and not having a testimony of God. I was very lost. After a while, I realized I can't do this life without help from a higher being. There was no way that it was just coincidence that little miracles and things kept happening to me. I slowly gained a testimony that there is a God, and he cares about me. And because I knew that I started reading the scriptures. The Book of Mormon and the Bible are both proof of God's love and evidence that Joseph Smith really saw God the Father and His son. I know Christ's church is restored back on the earth today by God. I testify that He loves me and He loves you. He only wants us to be at peace to feel true JOY like He does. I know as we draw to Him, He will hear you.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways. I live my faith by studying the scriptures daily and praying to God. This helps me have a relationship with my higher being so I am more guided and grounded in my daily decisions. I try in all I do, to act how I believe God would. By helping others, serving, and being the best me I can. It's amazing how peaceful I feel when I simply read the scriptures, pray, and constantly strive to receive revelation from God.
