Hi I'm Jason

I grew up in Southern California. I became an Eagle Scout at the age of fourteen. I delight in the act of service & I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up as the eldest with two brothers and a sister in a family of six. Each one of us found a natural interest in the sport of racing and we all competed in Cross Country and Track & Field in High School. I became a Cross Country Captain and led my team to win a league title that hadn't been won in over twenty years for my school. Our family is highly active and competitive, but we are also humble and devote ourselves to having special family time, scripture studies, and weekly acts of service in unison. As an individual, I accomplished high school with high academic achievement but decided to set aside my educational endeavors for the time being and serve a mission for my Church, in which I've been called to serve in the Montana Billings Mission. I have a testimony that missionaries all across the world are part of a marvelous work that is the helm Of God's hands.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been born and raised into this church for eighteen years of my life but I've only been a convert unto this gospel for the past seven years of my life. This is because seven years ago, I decided for myself to have a sincere intent in finding out if this gospel was true rather than believing what someone else said about it. I asked my Father in Heaven to receive personal spiritual experience as I studied my scriptures and prayed with fervor. I did as a matter of fact, receive a witness of the Holy Ghost at this time in my life, and he confirmed the truthfulness of the gospel to me in my heart. Every year after that, I continued to strengthen my testimony and became converted unto this gospel again and again as I experienced power feelings that I had never felt before such as the spirit of loved ones in temples, the miraculous power of priesthood blessings in my life, or prompting and warnings from the Holy Ghost that even have saved my life and helped save another life before. My testimony means everything to me because it has set me in the right direction towards eternal salvation and I can't wait to fulfill the purposes that God has sent me here for.

How I live my faith

I live my faith with exactness, knowing that blessings will come according to my ability to demonstrate my willingness to obey God's commandments and do what would be pleasing unto him. I participate in my community by always indulging into service whenever the opportunity arises and sharing my testimony with those whom I feel inspired to share it with. In my church callings, I have been previously called to lead my peers in the Aaronic Priesthood and how we can better magnify our priesthood in our lives. I've also been called to be a pianist for the kids of my church during singing time. These callings have helped me develop my love for this gospel.
