Hi I'm Mark Gabriel Guia

"I was born and raised in Philippines. I'm a missionary in Phil.Butuan Mission. I'm a Mormon."

About Me

I love meeting new people and making new friends. I'm a very active person. I love playing basketball, soccer, tennis and table tennis.I love to sing. I spend most of my time researching different things and discover things which i don't know. I have 3 brothers and I love hanging out with them. I went to college for a year taking BS Psychology and now I'm on Philippines Butuan Mission to dedicate my time to serve.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who are members of this church. I didn't grow up in the church because my Mom and Dad were inactive in the church for 14 years. I didn't know what was our religion before. When I was growing up I was converted in Seventh Day Adventist because I was living with my aunt. Then I saw the pictures of my Dad who was a missionary before, and that time I didn't know about the church. I asked my Dad what was his religion before. He told me everything about the church. That time I didn't believe every doctrine he taught in the restoration of the gospel. After my graduation in high school, I went to Dumaguete City, that was far from my hometown to pursue my education. I was so surprised that time to have met the missionaries. They told me all about the restoration, the Book of Mormon and the plan of Salvation. I really felt the spirit that led me to ask God. It made me seen the truth in its teachings. I really felt that Heavenly Father prepared my family for a certain purpose. After that event, my family returned to the church and me and my brothers were all baptized in May 2014. I have found that this gospel and this church give people a true and lasting happiness, unlike any worldly happiness we can find day to day. I'm so grateful for Heavenly Father for giving me a chance to change and so grateful for Jesus Christ in Atoning for my sins. By knowing of its great importance, I come to serve my God by doing missionary work. I really love to share my testimony of the gospel how it change me and how it change my family!

How I live my faith

I am very active in the community. I love to be involved in any service projects I do with my church. I live my faith everywhere I go by interacting with people and showing whomever I meet the love that our Father in heaven has for them.
