Hi I'm Robert Drew Hawkins

I love to serve and help people. I also like doing business and engineering. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am 20 years old. I am serving as a volunteer in Russia. I enjoy wrestling and all other sports. I also love to play my cello . I love working hard, and being a member of The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints allows me to work hard.. I am extremely active and love doing things with friends and family. I grew up on a small farm and loved every thing that I learned from that. I have some crazy stories. I love the church and all it has to offer.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church my entire life, and have attended church for as long as I can remember. I always knew that the church was true but up until a few years ago I didn't know honestly for myself. I was feeling lost, helpless, alone, worried about life, and where I was going. I remember it as if it was yesterday, I hadn't prayed or read my scriptures that week because I was so busy with school and wrestling, and preparing for nationals. One night when I was getting ready for bed and was so incredibly tired from training I got down and talked to God. I asked him to let me truly know that he knew who I was and that he knew what I was going through. I opened up my scriptures to a random spot and started to read. The very first verse in Alma that I read started talking about how God knows his children and will not leave them on their own. Right then I knew that this was the true church and that God knew who I was and that he loved me. I carry that feeling with my and it helps me when it is hard.

How I live my faith

I was a youth leader in my ward for almost all of my youth. I planned activities, taught lessons, organized fundraisers and a variety of other things. I live my faith by doing the calling that I have to the best of my ability. I also strive to do what is expected of me and do more than that. I also live my faith in the little things that i do minute to minute and day to day. That helps me to live my faith because it is constantly guiding my actions and helping me to do what is right.
