Hi I'm Nicholas Stott

I'm from Iowa, I'm a dancer, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

Growing up I loved dancing, mainly ballet, tap, and jazz. I love hiking and being outdoors in general. My personality color is blue-yellow but mainly blue. I plan to study nursing in college. I'm serving in the Nicaragua, Managua South Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon family however that is not why I am Mormon. I probably gained my own testimony when I was about 11, it was when my Grandpa, who was the biggest role model in my life, passed away. I struggled accepting the fact that I wouldn't ever see him again until someone was teaching me about the Plan of Salvation and it finally clicked. Since then my testimony has only grown. I am so happy to be a part of this Gospel and to have the comfort of knowing I will live with my family for eternity. I know this Gospel to be true, that it was restored by the prophet Joseph Smith, I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that because of his Atonement we are never alone, and I stress the never, because no matter what happens, the trial and hardships we go through, Jesus Christ is always there and knows exactly how we feel, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

For me I don't find much of a difference (or really any at all) between my church life and my. . . life life. To say that I am a Mormon, I feel that I should do more than just tell, I should show it. I have found that through live the standards of the Church life has been a lot happier. The saying, "Actions speak louder than words", has always stuck with me and has made me want to be an example of righteous living in all that I do. I am currently serving in the Nicaragua, Managua South Mission.
