Hi I'm Aleena

I grew up in California USA. I am a young artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am one of 2 children in a loving, tight-knit family. I am an artist so I love all things creative, crazy and messy. i love to go to movies, eat frozen yogurt an spend time with my friends and family after i serve a mission i will go to college at Brigham Young University Hawaii.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into a family who were all members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, so I was raised in the values and principles of the church which has proven to enrich my life and improve my relationship with my family members, friends, and my Savior. I chose to be baptized when i was eight years old, when i was old enough to have my own testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel. Though the Lord has greatly blessed my life have also had to face many challenges of my own and the Lord has always been there for me whenever I get on my knees and reach out to him, when I do my best to live the way i know He wants me to i can feel the love He has for me an all His children. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Gods true church restored to the Earth today and that He called upon His prophet Joseph Smith to restore the church and to translate the Book of Mormon, also know that the Book of Mormon is true and is modern day revelation from God, He has given us modern day prophets to receive revelation from God and I know that they are called by Him to do so, I know that Christ died for us and because of the atonement we can return to live with God through, faith, repentance, baptism, and obedience to the Lords commandments. God loves all of us even those who have lost their way and we can feel that love through prayer.

How I live my faith

At church I am a primary teacher, which means I voluntarily teach the 3 year olds during Sunday school every weekend, and i love it! Attending church and sacrament meeting every Sunday very important to me as well as the other events and opportunities the church provides such as ward picnics and service projects. Outside of church I regularly study the scriptures and the words of the modern day prophets in order to grow closer to God and His son Jesus Christ.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Aleena
The easiest way to come to know our heavenly father in my experience is to get down on our knees and honestly ask to know if he is there with a humble heart, and try to live the way He wants you to, you will start to see the sweet blessings he gives you. Show more Show less
