Hi I'm Henry Miller

I was raised in Idaho with four awesome brothers, I enjoy singing, I love being in the mountains. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play sports such as soccer, lacrosse, and especially volleyball. I have four brothers, three of which have served LDS missions. I have worked as a lifeguard, in corn fields, drove truck for a mint farmer, and worked for a circuit board contract company. I have been accepted to BYU Provo but have deferred and am now serving a mission in Budapest, Hungary. I love being in the mountains, there's nothing like fresh mountain air. I love to sing, especially hymns of praise to Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

There have been times where I felt that this was all silly and my faith was withering. But without fail, every time I had these feelings there would be a lesson or discussion at church that directly addressed my doubts. When I was younger I did not understand how I could develop my faith in Jesus Christ and this gospel. Everyone around me talked of how they had this feeling that they knew it was true. I hadn't noticed those feelings so I thought something was wrong. I had decided to pray to God if this gospel was true, and I did not get an immediate answer, but I had this feeling of hope which I didn't recognize at the time. It was the Holy Ghost sent by God and I know this because I have felt that feeling of hope and joy time and time again as I have desired to be like His son, Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it teaches us all that we need to know. I love my Heavenly Father and strive to constantly keep a relationship with him. I know that as I do, he will guide me.

How I live my faith

I study the scriptures every day and pray to my Heavenly Father. I love to serve by indexing and doing family history work. I worked in the temple once a week in preparation for my mission. Currently I'm in the Missionary Training Center studying Hungarian and preparing to help bring God's children closer to Christ. I know that He is the way to eternal life and I want to share that with everyone I come in contact with. Everyday I try to live worthily of the Spirit so I can be a better servant.
