Hi I'm Camilla

I live an extremely happy life full of adventures. I love learning and being physically active. And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a California girl and I am very laid-back and love being outside in the fresh air and sunshine. I play soccer and volleyball, and also enjoy tennis, running, and biking. I love watching and participating in sports. I attend Brigham Young University and go to as many athletic events as I can! I have a great appreciation for the arts as well. I play the piano and, starting just a few years ago, I now play the organ! Watching performances such as plays, musicals, and dance and choir numbers inspire me and make me happy. I also enjoy creating artwork of my own by drawing and doing easy projects here and there like making collages and organizing. As you can see, I like having a combination of various activities in my life such as sports, the arts, school, being social, and doing projects; and it all makes me happy! I love all the cultures around the world and want to visit so many places in the near future!!! I am the oldest of six kids and we all get along great. I love spending time with family because they're funny and we're always doing something! I have an awesome relationship with my extended family and our get-togethers and reunions and some of my fondest memories. I am an optimistic girl and I have many plans for my life to continue to bring a smile to my face!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that it brings me joy and fulfillment throughout my life. I am constantly grateful for the things in my life because the true gospel has so much to offer in terms of knowledge, happiness, and spirituality not only in this life right now, but for the future when Christ comes again and we can live with our Heavenly Father and be reunited with our family. The Gospel brings me this hope and joy and THAT is why I am a Mormon, and I will continue to be!

How I live my faith

I do my best to follow the counsel given from prophets and church leaders; I am often inspired by what they say and look forward to making positive changes in my life. Serving others makes me feel so much joy, especially in areas that I have served in the Church like as the organist and pianist, and teaching little children lessons about the Gospel and of Jesus Christ. I am serving a mission in the Texas Houston East Mission and am so eager to teach in Spanish. I look forward to becoming fluent and being surrounded by the culture that I have loved for years!
