Hi I'm Ethan

I was born in Idaho and spent most my life there but more recently, I call Utah my home. I love creating music and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

To sum up a lot about my interests, I can just say that I would be a musician if I really thought music would be a good career for me. I love to play the trumpet and other instruments and I love to participate in choirs. Currently, I'm serving a church mission but when I get home, I plan on attending BYU in Provo and studying to become a Structural Engineer. Rivaling music is my love for building or designing things. Because I also love math and I'm pretty good at it, I'm pretty sure that a degree in Civil Engineering is for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of this church but that is not to say I haven't chosen for myself to remain in the church. Early on, my parents were my source of surety that this is the way to live but they always encouraged me to gain a stronger belief for myself. I never had one moment that sticks out to me as the moment I learned for myself but as I look back now, the knowledge I have of the truthfulness of the Gospel came through reading my scriptures and praying to know if it is true. It came by asking the Lord with faith that he will answer, whether or not the things I have learned all my life are true. Now I serve as a missionary and I hope and pray that the people I come in contact can feel of the same feelings that bring convictions of truth and feelings of comfort in times of need to me.

How I live my faith

Currently, I am serving as a missionary for the church. In this service, it is my job to invite people to come closer to Christ by learning and following his Gospel for us in this day. Before my mission started, I have had chances to serve in leadership positions within the youth.
