Hi I'm Camille

I'm going to be a nurse. I love cake. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to laugh! I laugh all the time and love to find the joy in life. I love to sing and play the piano, especially hymns. I love to play tennis and enjoy the outdoors. I am going to college to pursue a degree in nursing. I love to help people and enjoy learning.

Why I am a Mormon

My senior year in high school, was probably the hardest year of my life. I couldn't find the beauty in myself and I became numb to the love of others. I felt lost and alone and I sincerely wanted to give up. I was finally at the end of my rope when one night I knelt down next to my fireplace late at night, and cried to my Heavenly Father. I pleaded to feel His love for me as I couldn't feel anything at all. I was overwhelmed with peace and joy and the love that God had for me. He did not take away my trials, but He gave me the strength to endure. I was able to grow, and slowly I was able to overcome. Through relying on the Savior and His atonement, I was able to not only feel the infinite love that God had for me, but I was able to see the divine worth in myself. I was able to see myself through God's eyes and it changed my life. I am a Mormon because the restored gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me from darkness into the light of God. It has shown me how much I am worth to God and how much I should mean to myself. Through praying, reading the scriptures, and receiving temple ordinances, my whole life has been turned around, changed for the better. I am now going to serve a mission so that I may show unto others the light of God. I know that God loves every single one of us and knows us so individually. The restored gospel of Jesus Christ means the world to me. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I've read it and asked with a sincere heart. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet called by God to restore the gospel. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer and that He lives. I know it with all of my heart and soul.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. I love to bake and visit my neighbors and people in my ward. I love to learn about people and get to know them better, listening and learning from their life experiences. I participate in my ward choir and love the spirit the songs bring into my life. I organized ward activities every Monday night and enjoyed bringing people together to help us all come unto Christ as one.
