Hi I'm Sarah Wilson

I'm an avid book reader , I am serving in the Curitiba Brasil Mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I am Sarah, I am a Latter-day Saint. I am currently serving the Lord in the Brazil Curitiba Mission, and I am so excited to share the love of God and Christ to the world every day! I might be living in Brazil right now but I am born and raised Texan. Being from Texas means one thing, I have a big personality and I am so used to the heat 80 is nice weather that I want to go out and run. I have recently put off my college studying to become a Doctor aside to become a Missionary. I am an Aunt to five adorable kids who I love to bits. I enjoy being active but at the same time if it is raining outside and I have an amazing book. Please do not come near me. I love my friends and family and I will thankfully to never have part from them.

Why I am a Mormon

Both my parents are currently members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Many would think that I would never have a moment in my life where I doubted the church, where I questioned what was I doing with my life. This would be completely wrong. I am like everyone else. Flawed. This brings me so much sadness but it brings me something that overcomes that. My flaws bring me happiness. I know, it sounds strange. Trust me I know, I live it. I am happy that I am flawed because that means that there is room for improvement, room for me to grow and most importantly, room for Christ. I have strong faith because I found out at a young age, it was my decision as to what I want to believe. Acting in faith, I wanted to find out the truth for myself, by getting on my knees in prayer, to learn more about God and the Savior. I was able to find the truth of His church. The reason I am a Mormon is I get so many opportunities to serve others, to help those who are not as fortunate as I am.I love the chance I get to know my Father in Heaven more and see all that he has done for his Children daily. I am so happy that I have gotten to grow more spiritually so that I know without a doubt that Heavenly Father loves and cares for me. That He is able to show me His love in so many ways that I can not even see myself. I am thankful for how much He listens to the many small problems that I feel. I am thankful for all the many blessings I have and I am most thankful for the chance I have to return to Him.

How I live my faith

My favorite thing to do is be there for the people I love, I believe that everyone should be loved no matter what has occurred in their life. One thing that I stand by is that one can not smile enough, the world is constantly going through trying times and sending a small smile towards someone is an easy way to let them know you care. I am constantly looking for anyway I can help with those around me. I really like volunteering with kids and animals. To brighten someone's day makes my day that much better and I think that is how everyone should be. I love to be friends with everyone I meet and strive to be happy and bring joy where ever I go. I am so blessed to be able to help others come unto Christ and in every aspect of my life I try to bring the light of Christ to all circumstances.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Sarah Wilson
A testimony is something that anyone can get. It is something that is true, that the person who is bearing or sharing their testimony believes to be true. Such as a to a little kid their testimony might be that their parents love them. Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

Sarah Wilson
It is wonderful. It brings me happiness constantly. When I move or go on vacation there is no need for me to ever look for a new church, for the doctrine of the church is the same in Texas as it is in Japan. Being a Mormon surrounds me with people who share the same morals as I do, who believe in the same things and who will be my friend no matter what I do. Show more Show less
