Hi I'm Blaine

I graduated a co-valedictorian from a tiny high school. I play League of Legends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've got a fairly large family with two parents and five brothers and sisters. I like to sing and I've had opportunities to take part in regional and state competitions throughout high school. I started out singing the bass part but now I sing tenor more often. I'm a computer gamer. I like to play League of Legends with my buddies and when we are in a board game mood we play Monopoly. I like fantasy books and some of my favorite authors are Robert Jordan, Jonathan Stroud, and J.R.R Tolkien. Right now I'm serving in the Utah, Provo Mission. I plan to attend college afterwards and make my way through med-school.

Why I am a Mormon

I love God and Christ. This church and this gospel are theirs. Being active in this church and work is how I can serve Them and become one with Them. I've found so much peace and joy in the gospel and this Church. I know that it's God's church. I would invite you who is reading this now to attend. Read the Book of Mormon. Search to know if it is true and if it is the word of God. This knowledge and this gospel have brought all the peace and joy that I know to my life. My purpose and my love is for God. And the more that I've come to love God I've come to love my family and everyone I come into contact with so much more. This gospel isn't just for me it's for everyone. I say that because everyone can and will find joy in God's love and His kingdom. Search it out, see if it's true. You will come to know God and the truthfulness of this church if you do.

How I live my faith

I love to learn about the gospel and study the words of Christ, whether they are found in the Book of Mormon or the Bible. I've always thoroughly enjoyed visiting with and helping the members of my ward by fulfilling my home teaching assignments. It really helps people to know that they are cared for and to have someone they can call on in need. I've been able to build so many friendships with those that I've been able to serve. I also LOVE going to church each Sunday. The bonds I build there along with the wonderful uplifting Spirit gives me the energy and strength that I need throughout my whole week. The Sacrament or Communion is an especial blessing each week. It allows me to be close to God and renew my sacred covenants that I've made with Him.
