Hi I'm Jaclyn

I grew up in Utah and am a recent transplant to Mississippi. I am a wife and soon to be mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to learn and to travel. I have a masters degree in history and an MBA. My husband and I recently packed our lives in to a trailer and moved across the country for him to go to law school and are now learning how to be Mississippians. I am expecting my first child at the end of this year and am so excited to be able to teach my daughter and help her to experience all the good things life has to offer.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because my faith helps me to live a life filled with love and hope. My husband and I have faced trials in our efforts to become parents that have tested our patience and faith in Heavenly Father's plan for us. My first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, and while we were heartbroken at the lose of our first little baby our faith that families are bound together after death helped both my husband and I to have peace that we would meet that little one someday. I am thankful everyday that the Atonement of my Savior Jesus Christ makes that possible. I know that trials come to help me become the person that Heavenly Father wants me to be, and to allow me to be more compassionate to the needs of those around me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to serve those around me and be uplifting. At church I am responsible for teaching the three and four year olds. I really enjoy the lessons because they are built on such simply principles of faith like Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us and have a plan for us, that we are all children of God, and that we can be with our earthly loved ones for eternity.
