Hi I'm Caleb

I was born in Utah. I lived in Libby, Montana for most of my life. I sing and play the piano pretty well. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Music is my life. It's a way for me to escape the bombardment of the world. I come home from work every day and I sit at the piano or I sing a pleasant tune. I'm leaving to go on a mission here in a month and I'm very nervous but also very excited to serve the lord for two years. I love hanging around outdoors especially with family.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons why I have chosen to follow and be a member of the Mormon religion. I had an understanding that in able to reach heaven, a place that is considered holy and sacred, I had to put a lot of effort in this life into gaining that salvation. I determined that this religion focuses on putting in a great effort to obtain that eternal salvation. I prayed about many of the teachings of this church and felt a burning warmth in my chest telling me that it was true. And plus, this religion makes sense. If God wanted a true church on the earth, it would be a church that was modeled after the church when Christ was on the earth. The Mormon religion has many aspects, if not all, that follow the structure of the church when Christ was on the earth.

How I live my faith

Before I turned 18, I was part of the youth program of my church. Whenever we would get together as youth, we would often serve people in our community through service projects or through simple things like baking them cookies and treats. Another thing I did was I participated in music. I played the piano for a few years for the brethren of the church. I also participated in the choir, for which we would sing songs for our congregation occasionally.
