Hi I'm Tiffany

I am a Registered Nurse, a wife, and a mother. I enjoy painting and reading. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah and moved to Georgia when I was 11. I grew up in Georgia until I came back to Utah for the summer when I was 19. I ended up staying here in Utah where I eventually met my wonderful husband. We have one daughter and plan on eventually having another child. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science as a Registered Nurse. I work part time and enjoy being home with my daughter. On my down time I enjoy painting art onto canvas. I have used both oil and acrylic paints and I love using lots of color. I just paint as a hobby and have not attempted to sell any yet. Our family likes to be outdoors. We go to the park, go hiking, and we love taking beach vacations as a family. I love enjoying the simple things in life and spending time with extended family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon, but there came a time in my life when I had to decide to develop my own testimony and decide if this faith was the right choice for me. Through personal experience, I know that Heavenly Father lives and his son Jesus Christ died for us so that we could have repentance and salvation from our sins. The joy that I feel while keeping his commandments and living my life the way the gospel teaches is so substantial that I know there is no other religion that can do the same for me. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet, and through him Christ's church was reorganized on the earth. This is Heavenly Fathers plan. A large portion of my testimony is based on the Joseph Smith story and when he prayed to ask Heavenly Father which church was the right church on this earth. It was such a defining moment in history and it changed the world for the better.

How I live my faith

Currently in my ward, I serve as the compassionate service leader. I arrange help for others in need who have just had a baby or have been in the hospital for a surgery or illness. I call and schedule volunteers to provide meals for people in need of our help. I love teaching my 18 month old little girl about the love the Savior has for us and it is so cute to see her fold her arms during prayers and say amen. She even reminds us when its time to say prayers before eating or going to sleep by folding her arms and waiting for us to pray. I try to live each day as a witness of Jesus Christ and try to treat others the same way he did. It is in my nature to provide care without passing judgement, which is why I became a nurse. I see this part of my personality represent itself in my dealings with people both in and outside of the church membership. I know that every person on this earth is a loving child of our Heavenly Father and that he knows and loves each and every one of us, even in our faults.
