Hi I'm Haylee Speas

I live in Livingston MT and am about to go on a mission in Nicaragua. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently preparing to serve a mission in Managua, Nicaragua. I have lived in Livingston for two years. Before Livingston I lived in Shelley, Idaho, and before that I lived in Watertown, New York for six months. I grew up in Boise Idaho. I went to BYU Idaho for a year, and will go back after my mission is complete. I like to read, draw, and go on adventures with my family. I also love to play the violin.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, as my parents are both members, but I have seen the gospel work in my life. It has brought me much peace and happiness, and even though I am persecuted often for my faith, I know that the gospel is true, and that it will keep me safe and happy if I follow its teachings.

How I live my faith

There are many ways that I can share my faith just by setting an example to those who live around me. There are not many who attend church here, so missionary work through me can be very influential. I have been working with the missionaries here to find people that are willing to accept the gospel in their lives, and have been happy to find that many are. I will be serving a mission in Nicaragua from the year 2015 to 2017, and am excited to share my faith with those who live there.
