Hi I'm Justin Gubler

Im from Utah. I'm a missionary. I'm a rugby, basketball, and football player. I'm a lover of the outdoors. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am 20 years old and currently serving a misison in the Florida, Orlando Mission till November of 2017. I love to ride motorcycles and four wheelers and always have since I was a kid. The sand dunes and the Deseret is what I grew up with and I've loved it. I am from Hurricane Utah but have moved around a few other places before living there. After my mission I plan to go to Dixie State University for a little bit and then transferring to the University of Utah and getting in the medical school their for becoming an Anesthesiologist. I love to be outdoors and to be staying active all the time. I enjoy playing sports and will pretty much play any sport no matter how good I am at it. I've been blessed with an awesome and sometimes crazy family and I am th 3rd of 4 children. I've got a really good sense of humor and love to crack jokes a lot!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew in a family that was Mormon. That is how I was raised and I was taught the beliefs of the LDS church. As a child I did not know any different and was a Mormon because that's just what I knew. As I grew older though and more choices became mine I had to gain a testimony for myself. I could not just keep living off my parents testimony that I believed what they believed. So I decided to read the scriptures and pray to my Heavenly Father to learn for myself if this was true. Everyone has to find out for themselves and feel that it is true. I read in the book of Mormon in the last book Moroni chapter 10 verses 3 through 7. And I prayed to my Heavenly Father with a sincere heart and asked him and through the power of the Holy Ghost I was able to receive an answer that it is true and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have served in various different positions in each presidency of each priesthood quorum that I have been in. I have been president, 1st counselor, 2nd counselor, and secretary before. I have been on the seminary representative council for my ward. Most recently I was the 1st counselor for our priest quorum from a couple months after I became a priest till the time I left. I enjoy teaching and leading my fellow classmates and peers in class.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Justin Gubler
We believe the main purpose in life is to live righteously on this earth and be worthy and able to live with Christ again. In doing so we receive a body and come to this earth and are given agency to make our own choices and to learn and grow and form a family that we are with for eternity. Show more Show less
