Hi I'm Eric

I grew up in Ogden, Utah and I'm preparing to serve a mission in North Carolina. and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a classic car fan, I'm a rock climber, Eagle Scout and i did work at a scout camp for two summers, and i love music. I am preparing to serve a mission in Charlotte, North Carolina. I grew up in the church I'm the second of four kids in my family I'm the first one of my siblings to serve a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have found something that is bigger than I am and Christ is the one who leads us even if we don't see him or hear his voice we still have his words through his disciples the prophets and apostles. Because of the trials and mistakes I've made and experienced i have found so much peace and joy in day to day life.

How I live my faith

Because I was raised in the church I've always been involved with something church related. In preparation to my mission my Bishop asked me to teach a Sunday School class called Gospel Essentials, which is exactly what it sounds like it is. The class is a good mix of people and surprisingly me and the other missionary that were preparing to leave were the youngest in the group. I always believed the church was true but i didn't know for myself until I decided for myself to serve a mission and I had some things that were keeping me from serving and I knew what I was doing was wrong so I cleaned up my act and changed my life so I could help others by sharing the gospel with them. I was able to use Christs atonement for myself and to feel the refiners fire and it wasn't easy it took lots of prayers and lots of faith and it took a long time but in the end it was worth it, If i can help just one person to find the gospel then everything I've done will be worth it.
