Hi I'm Blake

I grew up in a small town in Saskatchewan, Canada. I love to play sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young adult, who loves to do anything involving sports or the outdoors. Some of my favorite hobbies include basketball and snowmobiling. I am preparing to serve a full time mission (2 years). I have been assigned to serve the people of Tahiti and am looking forward to do so.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that were already attending the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was raised in the church and knew nothing different. However, as I grew up I realized all of the many great blessings of attending this church and was very grateful that I was born into it. Living the gospel is not always the easiest thing to do because of all of the temptation that is in the world today. But I promise that if you do so your life will be blessed and you will feel better spiritually, mentally, physically, and every other aspect in your life will be better.

How I live my faith

Throughout high school I found myself very involved in sports, not only personally but I also coached junior teams and refereed whenever given the opportunity. The qualities developed in sports translated to my church life where I was a leader for the young men and fulfilled other callings in the church. I learn new things everyday about my faith and I believe that it will continue to be that way. Serving a mission is a great example of how I live my faith.
