Hi I'm Jessica Tremea

I'm a red-head, teacher, musician, adventurer, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am definitely an adventurer! I love to travel and have been many places. I love culture and dream of traveling the world. I'm always up for something new and exciting. I am a very happily married woman. My husband and I met in college, he proposed in Italy, and we were married in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple August 15, 2013! I love him so much! We live in Logan right now and we are students at Utah State University. Go aggies! I will graduate in the spring with a dual bachelor's degree in elementary education and special education with a minor in music! I am very passionate about helping kids to learn and discover the adventure in learning. My goal is to help them realize their dreams are possible. We have an adorable little puppy who keeps us on our toes with his fun personality. I love all my family, and I have a big one. My family has done foster care since I was 16 and we have had more than 50 wonderful children in our home. I love music and I sing and play the piano. I'm learning the ukelele and guitar. I am a well-rounded person; I love a bit of everything. The world is an exciting place and I'm grateful to be here in this place at this time.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me so much happiness in a world that is often an unhappy place. I was born into the church, but it wasn't until I was a teenager that I really learned how much I NEEDED this in my life. I discovered the relationship that I could have with my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. I realized how much They loved me and how They have ALWAYS been there for me. I learned of my own worth as a Daughter of God. I learned that I can repent and be forgiven of my sins. I learned of the Atonement. This gospel became something I couldn't live without. I have been through my fair share of hard trials, but I've made it through because of my faith in Christ and the things that this gospel brings to my life. The world today is a very scary place, and if I didn't have the knowledge this gospel brings or the power of the Savior in my life, I wouldn't make it. There is so much evil and darkness today, but the gospel of Jesus Christ is my guiding light. It is how I feel peace. It has brought me so much joy, joy that I can't even find the words to describe. Being a mormon is how I have discovered who I am and who I can become. Every good thing I have has come from being Mormon. Because of this gospel, I can be with my family forever. My happily ever after has no end because I'm a mormon.

How I live my faith

I am the second counselor in the Young Women's program in my ward. I love it! I am responsible for the beehives. They are so fun and so full of life. It is an exciting thing to teach them. I feel so blessed to be there to teach and give advice and to be a part of their lives as they are preparing to make sacred covenants. It is special to me because it wasn't that long ago that I made all those big decisions that our young women are making; where to go to college, to go on a mission or not, whom to marry, etc. Those are such fun times and I am so grateful Heavenly Father has given me the chance to teach them the things He would have them know in order to come closer to Him as they grow into the women they were meant to be.
