Hi I'm Mhajho

I was born and raised in the province of Ifugao where the famous Banaue Rice Terraces is found. I'm a Health Worker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live here in the Philippines and a week from now I'm going to serve a Full-time Mission. I love baking, hiking, cooking, reading good books and a lot more. I finished a Bachelor degree and experienced working in a health care facility. I love helping other people in my own little ways.

Why I am a Mormon

As a teenager, I often have a lot of questions in my mind wherein older people are unable to specifically answer them. I often wonder where I came from? If I die what's next? Do I really need to be good? I try to look for answers but I can't find even one. I was thirteen years old when I met the Missionaries, they asked me if they can share a message about Jesus Christ and I agreed hoping that these Missionaries will be able to answer my questions in life. I was so amazed on the message they shared they did not just answer my queries but they taught me the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. They taught me a lot like The Restoration, The first Vision, the Book of Mormon and about Families, they taught that Families Can be Together Forever, that I can still be with my Family even after this life this message has really caught my attention. I love my family and I wanted to be with them someday so I continue to investigate in the Church, learn the missionary discussions. And eventually I asked Heavenly Father if all the things that I have learned are true. I received the answer and latter I was baptized in the Church. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I know we have a living prophet of today. I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ lives and they love us. I am grateful for the Atoning Sacrifice of Jesus Christ that through Him we will be able to have the opportunity to go back and live with our Heavenly Father someday.I know that the Book of Mormon is true. As we keep the commandments we will be blessed

How I live my faith

As a member of the Church I have a lot of opportunity to serve other people. I was called to teach the young women, young men and children in the church. It feels great to be a teacher. I learn a lot also from my students. I am also a Visiting Teacher which I love doing it, it feels good to be able to help the Sisters in the ward. I had also the opportunity to serve in the Young Women and Young Single Adult Organization of the Church. As a Leader we organize and plan activities, we help the members to develop their talents and skills and we become good example for them also, not only in the Church that we extend our help but in the community also, I joined in the clean up drive in our community, I volunteered in the distribution of vitamins and vaccines and also helped in the feeding program. It feels great to be able to serve our brothers and sisters who needs our help.
