Hi I'm Brecklyn

I am a student at BYU. I am preparing to serve my 18 month mission. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Idaho. Yes, I am from potato land. We wear that proudly though, my high school mascot was a russet potato! Pit that up against a grizzly any day! I love to play sports, mainly basketball. I don't get to play all that often though right now because I'm going to college down in Utah! I hope to become a physical therapist one day.

Why I am a Mormon

It brings me joy! This gospel is the only way to true happiness. I love Jesus Christ, and I know he loves me too! He is my savior, brother and friend. And because of him, If I repent and live the way he wants me to, I can return to live with him for all eternity. And my family can be there too because we have been sealed! That's amazing! Even if this gospel wasn't true, I would want it to be, and live my life the same way because of the ceaseless true happiness that it brings me. But I know it's true. Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, our Heavenly Father. The Book of Mormon is true, I have read it and by the spirit have felt an overwhelming conviction that it is genuine. God is real, I see his hand in my life every day. I am so blessed to have this knowledge in my life. I can't wait to serve my mission and bring this glad message to God's children wherever I am sent. This gospel is true. I know that. And I absolutely love it.

How I live my faith

I go to church every week, since I am at school its a singles ward filled with people all the same age as me! My calling is as an instructor for the women in my ward. I am attending a religious school and have the opportunity to take Religion classes, such as Mission Preparation or a class on the Book of Mormon. If you couldn't guess by my class choices, I am currently preparing to serve a mission for the LDS church and couldn't be more excited!
