Hi I'm Tricia

I'm a Mormon. And I'm about to leave to serve in the San Jose, California Mission.

About Me

I love to write, sing, act, dance, and draw! My talents improve every year the more I practice them. I have the most adorable nieces and nephews in the world! I'm am also known as a "fangirl". I'm into shows like Merlin, anime shows, and movies! I also love books! Reading is my therapy. My favorite books are The Lord of the Rings. One of the reasons why I love stories so much is when I can find things to compare them to the gospel, and pick out characters who are Christ-like. But my favorite stories of all are the ones about the Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and I grew learning more and more about it everyday. It's been a wonderful adventure. I had always followed the Gospel and its' teachings faithfully, even if I didn't fully understand as a child. I was baptized to wash away my sins, but at the time, I did it because I knew Heavenly Father wanted me to. I was obeying a commandment from my Heavenly Father. Going to Middle School was the hardest time of my life, but what helped me be strong was the Gospel. Because of the Gospel, I knew that the Savior was there for me. When I felt lonely he was there for me, and he has always been my best friend. Because of that, it helped my decision making, such as making good friends, and I always tried to find a reason to be happy.

How I live my faith

There is a row in the church building where it is easier for the elderly to sit towards the back. The isle is wide enough for people to walk through and for the elderly to sit comfortably. When I was twelve years old, I began to shake their hands and greet them. Now, every Sunday, they sit and wait for me to come say hello to them. They've become an important part in my life. How I strive to live everyday is to be kind to people. I want to serve others and make long-lasting friends, like the wonderful people who sit and wait for me every Sunday.
