Hi I'm Laura

I grew up in Utah. I love soccer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a freshman college student, who is looking to go on a mission in the near future! I love sports, especially soccer, the outdoors, boating, and any fun adventure one can think of! I love doing things that give me an adrenaline rush, but I also love relaxing and watching movies! Family is super important to me and I love spending time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been raised in a Mormon family and this gospel has been the greatest blessing in my life. I had a testimony at a young age that has continued to grow as I have. I've come to know for myself that this gospel is true! We have a Heavenly Father who loves us. He knows us personally. He is always aware of us and cares about us, even the smallest aspect of our lives. I also know that the Savior Jesus Christ lives. He died so that we can return to Him again. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph is a prophet of God. This gospel is the only thing that will bring us true joy and everlasting happiness. Sometimes things may be difficult and it may be hard to live certain parts of the gospel, however, I do know that if we endure and keep the commandments and standards that have been asked, we will be blessed for doing so! This gospel is the key to true happiness and I know that if one lives it, they shall find joy, just like I have!

How I live my faith

When I was a young women, I worked with the girls in helping to plan and carry out different activities and also making sure that all the girls felt welcome and loved! I now help with the music in the ward, making sure that all the songs and musical numbers are organized. I love it because I truly believe that music can bring about a spirit that nothing else can. It brings peace and and sense of calmness. I'm grateful and excited to be apart of this important aspect of church.
