Hi I'm Braedyn

I am from Bloomfield, New Mexico. I like music, sports, family, and especially the gospel, and I am proud to say that I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born on August 17, 1997, to parents who are both musicians. As a result, music is an integral part of who I am. I starting learning to play piano and sing when I was about three years old. In eighth grade I began teaching myself how to play the drums, and in high school I taught myself to play guitar. Today I spend much of my time writing, recording, and mixing music. I love theater and have performed in many plays and musicals I also thoroughly enjoy sports, especially football and basketball. I am an avid Brigham Young University and Denver Broncos fan. I am the oldest of five children. I have three younger sisters and a younger brother who is my best friend. I will be serving a two year mission beginning in October of 2015 and I will be attending Brigham Young University upon my return. I plan to obtain a degree in psychology and then attend law school with the goal of eventually becoming a criminal profiler in one of the Behavior Analysis Units in the National Center for the Assessment of Violent Crimes in the Federal Bureau of Investigation. I love attending church meetings and activities, and I love being a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know God lives and loves me. I know Jesus Christ suffered for my sins that I can overcome death and repent for the mistakes I make. I know that Jesus Christ's atonement allows me to overcome any trial when I give my best effort and let the Lord help with the rest. I know that God will forgive me of my sins if I will do everything I can to correct them, and that I have never felt closer to Go than when I have needed his help fixing a mistake. I know that God lives and loves me, and that's why I'm a Mormon

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being an example. This means that I try to be who I am and live my standards no matter who I'm around or where I am, whether I am home alone or in a football locker room or performing in a play or concert. I also live my faith by doing my best to love everyone unconditionally, just as God does. It's not always easy to do either of those things, and I am far from perfect, but I try harder every day. I am also a musician and I love to use music as a tool for furthering the Lord's work. I have sung in many choirs throughout my life, including a choir that annually performs selections from Handel's Messiah at Christmas time. I also enjoy singing in church choirs and have served as a chorister in my church ward for several years. I spend much of my free time writing, recording, and mixing music. While most of the music I write is secular and not openly religious in content, all of my music is still written to uplift others and spread positivity to whoever might hear it. I do also spend some time writing and arranging religious music.
