Hi I'm Brandon

Born and raised in Washington. I love watching, coaching and playing sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports first and foremost. I've played five different sports but my favorite was lacrosse. I played for 7 years, all through high school, and I had the chance to go to play in college but I decided to work and save money. I'm going on a mission this year, and when I get home I plan on going to school at BYU.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents are Mormon so I was born and raised in the Mormon church. I've loved everything that church stands for and teaches. It has a lot of sound principles on how to live and be a respectable, well behaved and functioning member of society. On a more spiritual level I feel that what it has taught me is that my life is better with a foundation built on a Christ centered life. While I don't do that exceptionally well all the time I try to live my life in that manner simply because it helps me feel better because it brings the Spirit into my life. And in feeling that spirit I've been able to grow my testimony that I know this church is true. I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for all of us and that he wants us to return to him someday. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet, and the he restored true gospel in this last dispensation. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet for the church on the Earth today. I believe in the power of missionary work and I know without it I wouldn't be who I am or where I am today. I know that the power of the Holy Ghost is real. I know that Heavenly Father, with the help of the Holy Ghost, answers our prayers. If we only ask with a sincere heart with a real intent. And I know that we can be forgiven of our sins through the power of repentance. To know that we have that saving grace is such a blessing and using it in my own life has been a tremendous help. I hope that I can tell as many people as possible about this a,aging opportunity that we all have.

How I live my faith

In my ward I am a Sunday school teacher. So when sacrament meeting is over, everyone goes to their class according to their age and I teach the 12 year old class. I participate in going on splits with the missionaries, which just means I go to their appointments with them and help teach lessons to investigators.
