Hi I'm Cassidy

I have grown up in the United States my whole life. I enjoy playing sports and being active. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student studying Exercise Science. I love learning about the human body and how truly amazing it is and all the things we do not still know about it. I also love to bake in my spare time. Cinnamon Rolls are my favorite to make and eat.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read The Book of Mormon and have felt the warm feeling that it gives me. I have also by the same warm feeling that we call the Spirit come to know that God loves me. Because God loves me he has a plan here for me on Earth. He sent me here to my family where I could learn and grow. He knew that I would make mistakes while here so he made a way that after all that I can do I can be made clean again. Because of this I can return to him again after this life if I follow his commandments. Being a Mormon has brought me so much happiness. It has helped me to be a better person, more service oriented, more aware of good and bad decisions in my life, and excited to share my beliefs with others while also learning theirs.

How I live my faith

I am currently a Family Home Evening group leader. Each week I help plan an activity and spiritual thought for a group of young adults who meet every Monday. It is a great way for us to serve one another and also a fun way to spend time together.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Cassidy
Reading books such as the Book of Mormon, Bible, and other scriptures brings peace into my life. Life gets so busy sometimes and taking the time to read these books gives me a chance to re-prioritize my life. A chance to feel at peace. I also believe that it is important to learn from the past and if we do not we are destined to repeat it. Show more Show less
