Hi I'm Joshua

I grew up in Arco Idaho. I love to play sports and be outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a town with a population of 1,000 people. I love to hike and fish. I played football and basketball in high school. I am generally cheerful and friendly. I like to work hard with other people to achieve a goal.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is God's church. It is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. A person can feel peace and comfort through the teachings of the church. It is hard work to be an active member of the church but the knowledge and blessings you receive are so much greater. That which inspires a person to do good is of God and the LDS church is always inspiring me to do better and to become a better person by following the example of the Savior, Jesus Christ. The church is lead by living prophets who guide and direct his church according to his will, just like in biblical times. I have received a knowledge that the church's teachings are true and that it is God's church through prayer and faith in him.

How I live my faith

I always am trying to be a good example to the people around me. I don't use offensive language. I try to be respectful of other people's beliefs and in return ask them to be respectful of mine. I keep my body clean of harmful substances like alcohol, nicotine, and other substances. I love to do service projects around the community. I have helped in cleaning up local parks, helping neighbors move, donating food, and much more. The best part of service is the happiness it bring to the people you help. Overall, I am always trying to become more like Jesus Christ.
