Hi I'm Keagan

I love life. I'm a college student. I'm a missionary in Lyon France.

About Me

I am a 19 year old girl who loves everything. I love to read, I love music, I love to play sports and I love spending time with my family. When I'm not working or at school I can be found with my family or with my friends. I love to bake, I love to watch movies and be a typical kid. But unlike most typical kids my age, I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the France, Lyon mission. There is nothing I would rather be doing right now than serving my Lord in France and helping others to receive the same blessings as me. When I return home I hope to continue education and get a degree in Athletic Training and Physical Therapy, and eventually start an eternal family of my own.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in a family where my parents were active Mormons. Despite that, I was never forced to be a Mormon. My parents encouraged us to find out for ourselves if the church is true. Through lots of prayer and reading the Book of Mormon I was able to without a doubt that the Church of Jesus Christ is the only true church on the earth today. As I attended church and was able to gain more knowledge I have that truth made known unto me again and again. I just want to testify that I know that the Church of Jesus Christ is true. I know that the Book of Mormon really is another testament of Jesus Christ. I promise that if you will read it and pray about what you have read the Lord will answer your prayers. I also promise that as you read the Book of Mormon that you will have more peace in your life and that you will come closer to God. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. I testify that he saw God the father and His son Jesus Christ. I know that he translated the Book of Mormon through the power of God. I know that Jesus Christ suffered and died for YOU and I testify that He would do it again just for you because that is how much He loves you! I promise you that you are never alone! You have a loving Heavenly Father who is watching out for you and only wants the best for you. I know that my Redeemer lives. I testify that on the third day he did rise from the dead. I know that because of that we have the opportunity to be with our families forever. I know that we have a living prophet on the earth today. I know that he is a mouth piece for our Heavenly Father. I testify that if you will follow his counsel that you will be blessed. I know that God loves you! I know that we are all His children! I say this in the name of my Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I am currently attending a Young Single Adults ward (ward for single adults ages 18-31). I am serving on a committee where I help organize events that we participate in every Monday. We have planned activities like playing quidditch, doing a chili cook off, movie nights and much more. I am also the choir accompanist in my ward. I love being able to play with such amazing singers to help invite the Spirit into our meetings. Outside of my ward callings I love to help people in any way I possibly can. Service is one of the most rewarding activities that I have participated in. I find that as I help others I not only lighten their burdens but mine too are made light. I also feel a stronger relationship with them and can relate to them more. It has helped me to treat others the way that I would like to be treated and to also make lasting friendships.
