Hi I'm Seth

I'm a Mormon and I'm a missionary.

About Me

I'm Seth, I have 4 brothers and 3 sisters. One of my favorite things to do I roller skate, I love going to the skate rank on disco night and skate. I love reading. My favorite books are Harry Potter, Ender's Game, and The Lord of the Rings. I also really like to play video games, but only the really old ones like Donkey Kong, Pacman, Galaga, and Asteroids. I restored and old, broken arcade machine to life, and I still play it all the time. I love to exersize, biking running and swimming. I'm a huge Star Wars fan. I watch the movies every day. I'm going to be on my mission when the new movies come out so I'll miss out on those. It's alright though because I know serving a mission is definitely worth waiting a year to see a movie. I really love music especially from the 70's and 80's era. Disco is my absolute favorite. I play a few instruments all of which I'm still a beginner at, the ukulele, guitar, and bass guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a member of this church because I know its true and I know it blesses my life. It has made me a better person. I'm so blessed to know the things the gospel has taught me, that there's life after death, that families can be together forever, and that there's a plan for me. Because I know these things I live the gospel. Because I live the gospel, I am happy knowing that I'm living the way my father in heaven wants me to live. It all just feels right.

How I live my faith

I have a few callings in the church. I will be released of them soon because of my mission. I got set apart as a teacher, a ward missionary, and a home teacher. I do my best to fulfill all of my callings. The callings the bishopric gave me I believe are to prepare me to go on a mission. I have learned a lot from these callings. From being a teacher I learned how to prepare to teach something, study skills, and social skills. From being a home teacher I learned how to really befriend people I don't know too well and how to really serve. From being a ward missionary I learned how to be bold and reach out to those who don't go to church any more. Also I learned to be diligent, to accept rejection when others don't accept my invitation to come to church. Being in the church has taught me a lot. I expect to learn a lot more as I go on a mission. I believe service is the best way to be like our savior.
