Hi I'm Gary

I grew up in Rexburg, Idaho. A wonderful place to live, learn and play.

About Me

I have 2 exceptional children, 3 amazing grandchildren and the most perfect wife of all time! I love to ride motorized vehicles, Dirt Bikes, Harleys, 4 wheelers and Snowmobiles of course, ( I raced sleds for ~10yrs back in the day) I was taught to work on a small farm in SE Idaho, learned to operate equipment on road construction and received my degree in Architecture. After all these years, I find myself the owner of an Architectural Firm, a Demolition and Excavation Company, a Building Construction Company, a Landscape Materials Yard and managing a few rental units. My family gets together for Sunday Dinner EVERY week, we are blessed to be feed the best meal cooked by my Mother (or Granny to most)

Why I am a Mormon

When I move to Seattle in 1990, I found the church as an answer to a prayer I had said while driving home one day. I was a single father, just started my Architectural business and I was overwhelmed! I said out loud in my truck, "Heavenly Father, I need some help!" I was just 2 blocks from home, once I parked, I was heading toward my front door when I was meet by the Missionaries. It was such a quick response, I have been showered from that day forward with blessing from Heaven far beyond my wildest dreams. I have been able to serve in many wonderful callings in the church, always feeling inadequate and always feeling blessings and support from the Lord as I serve. I have found my eternal companion through serving in my first calling, what more do I need? I love the Lord, I love our Church and I love my life. I am grateful for my experiences and my testimony. I have truly been blessed.

How I live my faith

I am currently in the leadership in our local Young Single Adult ward (18-30yrs old). I am blessed everyday to be able to work with such exceptional young members of our church. The Bishop and I have been friends for 20+ years, what a great way to serve the Lord.
