Hi I'm Michael

I grew up in the Salt Lake City, Utah area my whole life. After I serve a mission, I'm going into the medical field. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

*I from Utah *I'm a Eagle Scout *I love playing soccer -Hiking and taking pictures *Hanging with friends *Biking *I have worked and received my Certified Nurse Assistant and Medical assistant *I'm going to serve a Mission in the Philippians

Why I am a Mormon

I'm not being cliche when I say I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I know it. I cannot deny it. I may not articulate myself well. I know we have a Savior, Jesus Christ, that atoned for all mankind, and a loving Heavenly Father that allowed His Only Begotten Son to come to this world to do so. They both love us with a love that we cannot comprehend. Once you feel a little of that love, you will be changed. You can know for yourself by reading and praying about the Book of Mormon to know if the Church is true or not. I'm so grateful for the knowledge that families can be together forever, and that I will see my grandpa and friends again. The blessings in the temple are priceless, and visiting the temple often has made me happier than at any other time in my life. I know that by going on a mission, I am not just helping others live a better life. I am helping them find the truth through the Spirit, that can change them for all eternity. I wish to live my life in such a way that I can one day kneel at my Savior's wounded feet, and wet them with tears of gratitude. Please read Alma 26:12 in the Book of Mormon. Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives: "I know that my Redeemer lives!" Let the whole world know and live by that knowledge, I humbly pray, in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I've keyed into something. I have a better day when I live the Gospel. What makes me feel better, when I've been hurt, or I feel yucky, is to serve others. I literally go to a store, buy the cashier a Snickers, and candy for my friends, and candy doorbell ditch people. And that always makes me feel better. I find that listening to religious music and Mormon Messages, gives me strength and joy, and whenever I'm in the car, and I want to listen to something, I listen to uplifting music, (mostly Vocal Point's Lead Thou Me On, or David Archuleta's Glorious), or talks which give me more Gospel light and knowledge, and listening to these things have been an inspirational thing in my life. I try very hard to keep the Sabbath day holy. The Gospel affects how I treat patients, and I know it will affect my entire medical career in a positive way. I hope to heal people physically and spiritually. I'm trying to be more like my Savior, so that people see His light reflected in my life. How I live my faith affects every aspect of my life, and it brings more joy to me when I do the things I know are right.
