Hi I'm Brigham

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I graduated from Brighton High School in 2015. I have been called to serve an mission to Ghana.

About Me

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Growing up I played all types of sports. I played little leauge baseball, basketball, and football. In high school I played baseball for a year before deciding I wanted to be in a different environment so I picked up tennis and was able to play tennis for Brighton High School for 3 years. I have always been one to work with my hands. I love metalsmithing and woodworking and building just about anything else. I also enjoy the outdoors. I have recently picked up mountain biking and I love it. I love to hike, bike, camp, or doing anything in the mountains.

Why I am a Mormon

It would be easy to say or think that I am a Mormon because that was how I was raised or because my parents are Mormon. Although I do owe a lot to my parents for being a Mormon I have come to the knowledge of the truth for myself. I have felt the influence of the Book of Mormon in my life and received answers to my prayers through it. I have felt the Love of my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ for me as an individual. That love is something I can't deny that I have felt. Because I have felt that love I am a devoted Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in many different ways. I participate in callings and service opportunities in my church. I would like to think I live my faith outside of church by striving to be like my Savior Jesus Christ everyday. I enjoy serving people even if its just small things or helping my mom out. I know that I am far from living my faith perectly, but enjoy trying to get better everyday, becoming more what my Savior wants me to become everyday. I will be serving a mission for the Church for the next 2 years. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve other children of God and be a minister of Jesus Christ by trying to do and say and be what he would if he were here.
