Hi I'm Michelle

Born and raised in Utah, but I've been blessed to see the world. Passionate about art, family, and the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am still a novice college student. I am studying my passion: ART. Specifically, Art Education. Who wouldn't want to spread and teach their passion?? I've grown up outside. Dirt biking, showing horses, backpacking, hiking, rock climbing (that's a newer one). I have traveled to Europe twice, Mexico twice, the Caribbean, and all over Utah and the U.S. (By the way, my state is so underrated... It is beUTAHful, especially if you love the outdoors.) My family are Mormons too. We love to dirt bike, travel, and eat. Seriously, we love food. All kinds. I have a cat. I think cliff jumping is much scarier than skydiving. My hair is naturally curly.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in a Mormon family, but that doesn't mean I didn't have a choice to leave. I've had a few times in my life when I questioned my religion and could have strayed away. I stayed and continue to get stronger in this religion because there is NOTHING else that makes me as happy. I have felt the love of God in my life, and know that Jesus Christ lives. They will always be there for me, even if nobody else is. All things in this religion preach love, serving others, bettering and respecting one's self, and gaining a better relationship with God. There isn't one bad thing about it.

How I live my faith

I have been a youth young women leader in previous years, but my calling right now is about to start. I have been called to serve as a missionary for 18 months. This is optional for young ladies, but I felt that it is what I should be doing and what the Lord wants me to do in my life at this time. I am beyond excited to spread the joy and peace that my religion brings me to others. I will be serving the Lord and others, without seeing my family for a year and a half. Why do this? It is worth leaving to help spread the truths I know to others to have for eternity.
