Hi I'm Tyler Mansfield

I'm a spunky guy who loves friends, family, learning, serving, connecting, inspiring, and living. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey there! I'm Tyler, a college student studying Applied Mathematics at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I am outgoing and love being with and meeting new people, especially those with different perspectives than me. I love serving and have done humanitarian trips to Michigan and Fiji and am getting ready to serve a mission for two years in California. Learning is a passion of mine, no matter what the subject or field. I love swimming, running, racquetball, and volleyball. I've been a lifeguard, swim coach, Subway sandwich artist, and Jimmy John's delivery boy. Life is fantastic.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon my whole life, but I've had my fair share of uncertainty and doubts because of my analytical and skeptical nature. Though there have been questions, there has also been light, guidance, and truth that has kept me going. I've learned what it means to have faith and hope. Certain spiritual experiences and special moments I've had in my life have allowed me to gain a testimony of the reality of God, Jesus Christ, and their love for us. Living this gospel has made me a better and happier person. I believe that this is Christ's restored church on the earth today. If I can receive a witness of the truth of these things, I believe anyone that sincerely studies and ponders these things and patiently prays about them can receive that witness as well.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to radiate the Savior's love through my words and actions. By serving through various callings in church, I am able to get to know wonderful people and support and uplift them as they inspire me. I enjoy taking time to slow down, reflect on life's experiences, and try to become a better person through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I believe that living our faith is not just what we profess to believe, but more about the way we live and show it through our actions. I am preparing to serve as a full time missionary in Redlands, California.
