Hi I'm Christopher

I am serving a Mission in Anaheim California. I love to run, hike, and spend quality time with friends and family.

About Me

I am a resent high school graduate. I love to play games of all kinds. I have and amazing family and a cat named Charlie. Shooting guns and bows are one of my favorite hobbies. After I serve my mission I am going to study for information systems and hope to be able to do something creative with computers for my career.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because there came a point in my life where I needed to know for my self if this church was true or not. I have grown up in this church with my family born into this gospel not knowing with a surety that the gospel was true. But I know now that it is. I experienced a trial of my faith and have investigated and received a witness of the Holy Ghost that it is true. My family had taught me as I have grown up that if you want to know something find out for yourself whether things are true or not. This life is all about making and learning from our mistakes. It is a simple and perfect plan and has been made possible by Jesus Christ for us to make and to learn from our mistakes through the atonement. I have a testimony that through the Prophet Joseph Smith the gospel has been restored to the earth in these latter days. That our Heavenly Father is a loving Father that wants us to come back to him and has given us the tools to do so. That the Book of Mormon is a testimony or Jesus Christ and is the most important tool accompanied by prayer to know whether this church is true. That we have been given modern day Prophets to instruct us for our good and safety and that the same authority that was with Jesus Christ has been restored by the laying on of hands by angels to Joseph Smith. To continue Gods work for his children. That this Priesthood authority is the proper authority to be baptized and to give and receive modern day revelations and blessings. That we have been given temples to be with our families forever and that the family is the most important unit. I know these things to be true for myself because I have investigated and receive a witness of the Holy Ghost and witness of peace. I invite all others with the desire to know for themselves to read the Book or Mormon and to pray for an answer and those that do will receive an answer. These things I know to be true and they give me the peace and joy I need in my life at all times.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through going to church every Sunday and doing family history and temple work whenever I get the chance. I love to participate in service projects and helping whoever I can when I can. I home teach and share my faith with those that are curious.
