Hi I'm Tristan McDaniel

I'm a skater born in the west, raised in the east, trying to find my way in life and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a single 19 year old male about to serve a mission In Colorado. I enjoy skateboarding, snowboarding, and everything else you can do on a board. (or motorcycle) Not really much of an academic, but I do love ASL and psychology. I'm an ESFJ who truly loves to serve and the best thing in life is enjoying every moment you have with your friends and family because that's all that really matters in the end.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the church and have always tried to follow the teachings of the gospel because it was always expected of me. Every commandment I was required to follow sometimes seemed to resemble a ball and chain, restricting me from living the life I wanted to live. Then as I grew older and wiser I realized how great a gift I had received. Being a member of the LDS church has truly blessed my life and kept me away from so many problems. I have been raised in a world where everyone is looking for immediate gratification. Doing what feels good in the moment. Living the life similar to the many people around me would have not brought me the great joy I feel today being a member of this church. With the guidance of the commandments keeping me on the strait and narrow. I now have a sense of direction and opportunities I would have never had otherwise.

How I live my faith

Future missionary, leaving for Colorado soon.
