Hi I'm Brigham Hale McKay

I grew up in Huntsville, Utah. Working on my family farm. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy horseback riding, and playing sports such as Lacrosse, and Tennis. Both sports I played varsity in High school. And in tennis I played doubles with my younger brother, and we played in the state tournament together. I also enjoy leatherwork. I find it extremely satisfying to think of something that I need or want and having it take form in the leather. I will be serving a mission in the Bangkok, Thailand mission. I report to the MTC on Oct. 14th 2015.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Mormon church, but as I have lived in it and seen that blessing that come from faithful and active participation in this Church I have come to gain a strong testimony that this church is the true church of Christ. And that the Book of Mormon, which is a strong basis of this religion, is a true and powerful book. A book that testifies of Christ and his ministry. I love this gospel it has given me everything and I can not imagine my life without it.

How I live my faith

I have participated in our youth activities at least once a week of my life since I turned 12 and was ordained to the office of Deacon, where I had the wonderful opportunity to be the president over others in my age group. When I turned 14 I was ordained to the office of Teacher, Where I also was blessed to serve as president. And as I reached 16 and was ordained a priest I served as 1st assistant to the Bishop in my church ward. I have very much enjoyed the youth activities and lessons that I have been able to be a part of. There have been many fun times and many very spiritual times. One of my favorite things is the wide diversity of activities that we are able to participate in, ranging anywhere from boating, to shotgun shooting, to raking leaves, to gathering soup cans for the Utah food bank. There have been many wonderful service opportunities that I have been able to participate in and it has truly blessed my life!
